Consistently ranked as one of the top ten industrial design graduate programs in the United States by DesignIntelligence, the Auburn Master of Industrial Design (MID) Program prepares students to shape a sustainable future by designing products and systems that consider human interaction, manufacturability, profitability, and environmental impact. The MID Program consists of a thesis based program of study (35 credit hours). Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in industrial design or have completed a three semester post baccalaureate program.  Courses are structured to the student’s specific area of design interest.
